2011 Year in Review

After all the drama of 2010, we have enjoyed a more settled year, featuring classic family milestones like Mark's first trip to the beach and Felicity starting preschool. Here's a quick overview of the Vogl Adventures, 2011 Edition.

January

Lillian started a new job with the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, an association that has been representing life insurance agents since 1890. She focuses her advocacy on federal tax and employee benefit issues, replacing a gentleman who retired after 41 years in the organization. Lillian doubts she can match that, but it's a comforting precedent and she enjoys working as part of the organization's now all-women federal lobbying team.

It was a very busy month in the Vogl family. In just one week: Felicity started preschool, Matt started his second year working at Fairfax HS, Mark celebrated his first birthday, and Lillian gave her first "main stage" presentation to over 1,000 members at NAIFA's annual conference!
